Sharjah 24: Al Hamriyah Athletics Team won 7 medals (two gold and 5 silver medals) in the Federation Cup Championship for the Junior and Youth categories, which took place on Saturday, in Abu Dhabi.
The two gold medals came from runner Mohamed Saad in the 80 and 200 meter hurdles races (cubs category).
The five silver medals included 3 medals for the cubs, 2 of which went to Saif Jassim in the shot put and discus throw races, in addition to one medal for Rabie Khalaf Rabie in the 1000 meter running race.
Within the youth category, Al Hamriyah team runner, Ashish Godwin, was able to win two silver medals in the 100 and 200 meters.
