Sharjah 24: Aisha Al Kaabi, member of the Events and Activities Committee of the 21st edition of Sharjah Heritage Days, explained that the committee participates in the days in the Knowledge Oasis for young children, which offers various workshops for attendees.
She added that the Knowledge Oasis for young children includes workshops on the different environments in the UAE: desert, marine, agricultural, and Bedouin, in addition to calligraphy and fabric painting workshops.
Al Kaabi told “Sharjah 24” that the guest of honor, the Republic of South Korea, offers workshops for children at the Knowledge Oasis, and participants also learn about security and safety at home through competitions for children and families, noting that the oasis includes a shop for creative people to draw on fabric and design brochures in traditional shapes, and an exhibition for people with disabilities displaying their products.
