The training sessions were held at the Judicial Training Institute with 44 candidates from various levels of government institutions and ministries.
The three-day programme was designed to familiarise participants with the fundamental principles of creativity and innovation, explain the seven stages of invention, use innovation tools in institutional work, and emphasise the components of innovation in the workplace.
The first programme focused on "Strategic Innovation in Government Institutions," training leaders and supervisors on how to develop creative thinking skills, overcome challenges, identify components and tools of functional innovation, and improve methods through brainstorming.
The initiative seeks to improve the innovation environment in all functional areas, spread an innovation culture throughout the Emirate's governmental institutions and departments, develop the capacities of innovative leaders and employees, and inspire talent to achieve greater success.
The second programme, "UAE Innovates," focused on understanding the participants' expectations at various levels about creativity, innovation, and their significance. It also explored the United Arab Emirates' initiatives and national policy in this area, providing insight into the Sharjah Innovation Award.
During this session, participants were introduced to the innovation framework, work innovation methodologies, workflow maps, product processes, and service procedures.
