Dubbed “Meeting and Communication”, the forum will see wide participation from local institutions and the people of the region.
Al Ketbi explained to “Sharjah 24” that the forum is distinguished by its diverse sporting activities, which include football and volleyball competitions designated for employees of the central region. A special laser shooting tournament was also allocated to the people of the Mleiha region, in addition to a swimming tournament, stressing the importance of these events to strengthening social bonds and promoting physical fitness and cultural awareness.
Al Ketbi pointed out that, in addition to sporting activities, the forum is keen to enhance the cultural and religious aspects. In this context, the Holy Quran competition for boys and girls is considered one of the main events, and in a new initiative this year, the Quran is distributed to the players and the club family in cooperation with the Holy Quran Academy in Sharjah, in a move to encourage young people to read and meditate on the Holy Quran.
