APC Members introduced to the “Big Heart Foundation”

Sharjah 24: Members of the Arab Parliament for the Child (APC) arrived in the United Arab Emirates to participate in the third meeting of the third session, where they attended an introductory workshop organised by the Big Heart Foundation to learn about the the Foundation and its programmes.
The Foundation’s projects, implemented under the patronage and directives of Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Muhammad Al Qasimi, wife of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, aim to meet the needs of hundreds of thousands of refugees and needy people in a number of countries. The Foundation implements a number of development and sustainable projects covering several vital sectors, including healthcare, education, and emergency response, in addition to safety and protection, and seeking to improve the living conditions of children, women, and vulnerable families.

A short presentation was made about the achievements of the Big Heart Foundation, which focuses on children's projects, in addition to a video presentation highlighting the Foundation's tasks and goals.

A special interactive platform has been prepared to introduce children to the Foundation’s projects in an interesting and interactive way. The platform also included the sale of the organisation's products, such as T-shirts, pencils, notebooks, and handbags, in addition to distributing gifts to APC members.

The workshop saw remarkable interaction from APC members, as they expressed their admiration and appreciation for the efforts made by the Big Heart Foundation in serving children in need and refugees. They also expressed their admiration for the projects presented by the Foundation and their positive impact on the lives of children in different parts of the world.

APC members expressed their praise for the efforts made in organising the introductory workshop and providing information in a simple and understandable manner, which contributed to motivating them to participate effectively in future activities and initiatives. They stressed the importance of continuing these efforts to build more cooperative and solidarity-based societies in confronting the challenges facing children in the Arab world and beyond.
