Sharjah24: The Sharjah Youth Council (SYC) has launched the programme "Youth Future Skills," which is designed to train ten teens from the Emirate of Sharjah on the means by which to develop and present innovative solutions that benefit the visually impaired. The initiative was announced by Engineer Khawla Yaqoub Al Zarouni, team leader of the Sharjah Open Innovation Lab and a member of the SYC.
According to Al Zarouni's exclusive remarks to "Sharjah 24," the programme's goals include equipping young people with skills that will be in demand in the future, encouraging innovative solutions that benefit the visually impaired, raising their standard of living, and improving their support systems.

According to her, the project is going to provide students with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to hone their abilities in technical and social innovation.

Starting on February 15th, the programme will be an integral aspect of the UAE Innovation Month events.
