Sharjah Shines at Bett: Showcasing EdTech Excellence Globally

Sharjah24: The Sharjah Private Education Authority joined six governmental and semi-governmental organisations, including the University of Sharjah, Sharjah Academy for Education, Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center (Sheraa), Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services, Sharjah Center for Learning Difficulties, and Expo Sharjah Center, at the "Bett" event in London, the world's largest EdTech gathering. The event, held from January 24 to 26, is a major international exhibition showcasing the latest in education programmes and technologies.
Leading the delegation from the Sharjah Private Education Authority, Ali Al Hosani, its Director, facilitated a platform for dialogue, emphasising Sharjah's substantial contributions to education and its commitment to keeping pace with technological advancements. The participation aimed to showcase Sharjah's educational and cultural stature, highlighting the notable progress achieved in recent years.

Expressing pride in the Authority's involvement in "Bett," Al Hosani underscored its dedication to a distinguished education strategy. He highlighted the presence of educational leaders accompanying the delegation to stay updated on the latest technological developments, with a goal to enhance education in the emirate.

During the exhibition, the Sharjah Private Education Authority signed a joint cooperation agreement, focusing on collaboration and joint efforts to enhance assessment systems and implement control and auditing processes in education.

The conference featured six workshops, including the University of Sharjah's workshop on "Strategic Integration - Leveraging Performance Management to Enhance Results." The Sharjah Center for Learning Difficulties highlighted initiatives and achievements of the Support Center for Learning and Development (SCLD), while the Sharjah Academy for Education presented a workshop on education data centers.

The Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center (Sheraa) organised a workshop titled "Excellence in Educational Technology: Supporting Startups and Innovation in Sharjah." Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services emphasised its role in providing knowledge-related content through technology. The participating entities concluded with a collective workshop titled "Sharjah as a Regional Educational Hub."

The Sharjah Private Education Authority's platform hosted His Excellency Mansour Belhoul, the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the United Kingdom, and a high-level delegation from the Ministry of Education in Saudi Arabia. The visit aimed to explore the delegation's latest practices in the field, initiatives and projects organised by the authority, and efforts towards continuous improvement in the education sector.
