Tariq Saeed Allay, stated that based on the vision and directives of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, Sharjah has become a cultural, heritage, and family destination and the launch of the new identity of Sharjah will align with these directives and support its position globally.
He added to Sharjah 24 that the new identity of the Emirate of Sharjah will support this direction across various sectors, affirming that the emirate's new logo reflects the architectural character of Sharjah and will contribute to internationally promoting the city, emphasising that it will be used in international forums in which the government of the Emirate of Sharjah and its affiliated institutions participate.
Director-General of the Sharjah Government Media Bureau (SGMB),pointed out that the new identity of Sharjah will be used in international events held in Sharjah, such as the International Government Communication Forum, Sharjah International Book Fair and many other international events held in the Emirate of Sharjah as the aim of this identity is to unify the media messages.
