Sharjah 24: Sharjah Sports Channel has given substantial attention to broadcasting and monitoring all sporting events and activities taking place in late January and early February.
From January 26 to January 31, 168 cyclists representing 28 teams from 21 nations will compete in the 9th edition of the Sharjah Cycling International Tour, which His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, is sponsoring.
Additionally, the channel plans to prepare to cover Sharjah 2024, the fourth iteration of the West Asian Para Games, which the Al Thiqah Club for People with Disabilities will be hosting from January 27 to February 3.
The coverage emphasises Sharjah's position as a disabled-friendly city as a result of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi's significant support and endless care.
Mohammed Majid Al Suwaidi, Director of Sharjah Sports Channel, emphasised the channel's dedication to the Sharjah International Tour, which attracts worldwide sportsmen to compete for the coveted championship in the Emirate. In addition, a unique coverage strategy has been developed for the West Asia Para Games, which adheres to high technological and professional requirements.
