Sharjah International Cycling Tour is set to start on January 26

Sharjah 24: The organising committee of the ninth Sharjah International Cycling Tour 2024 continued its preparatory meetings for the major international event, which enjoys the generous patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, where the committee thanked His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of Sharjah Sports Council (SSC), for his role in overcoming the difficulties and providing all the necessary needs for the success of the event.
The committee, headed by His Excellency Abdul Malik Muhammad Jani, Vice Chairman of SSC, decided to hold the ninth edition from January 26 to 31 and to announce the details in a press conference to be held in the first week of January.

During the meeting, it was decided that the tour would consist of five stages that pass through the most important cultural and tourist attractions in Sharjah, with a total distance of 503 kilometers.

His Excellency Abdulmalik Jani expressed his satisfaction with the arrangements that have been made so far, and stressed the need to complete the remaining preparations early. 

His Excellency Abdulmalik Jani said that the organising committee is keen for the tour to gain a new addition that will delight its fans and promote the cultural, heritage and sporting richness of Sharjah.

The meeting was held in the presence of Dr. Yasser Omar Al Dokhi, Director of the Tour, Zakia Suhail Al-Musharrekh, Chairman of the Media and Marketing Committee, Abdullah Hussein Al Ali, Chairman of the Support Services Committee, Muhammad Ali bin Hammad, Chairman of the Public Relations and Transportation Committee, Khalid Abdullah Al Junaibi, Chairman of the Performance and Development Committee, Jassim Muhammad Al Doukhi, Chairman of the Medical Committee, and Major Hassan Muhammad Al Hosani, Chairman of the Security Committee, Captain Ali Al Malihi, Vice-Chairman of the Committee, First Lieutenant Omar Abdullah, Member of the Committee, and Mohamed Salah Mounir, Rapporteur of the Committee.
