The platform allows the public to launch campaigns to collect endowment donations on behalf of – whether dead or alive – people. The campaign creator determines the financial amount, from AED1000 to AED10,000, and is free to choose any endowment projects the department proposes.
Launching the platform aims to urge and encourage the public to consolidate the purposes and objectives of Islamic Sharia through endowment donations, according to Talib Al Marri, Director General of Sharjah Awqaf.
