Zakat can be delivered through the website, link, credit card, bank transfers, requesting a representative to receive donations, or through the association’s headquarters and branch offices.
Mohammed Salim Al Manai, Director of the Aid Department, stated that the amounts of zakat money represent a vital tributary of the SCI’s resources and cover the association’s spending on assistance to relieve distress, which amounts to approximately AED80 million annually.
He explained that Sharjah Charity is pursuing a policy of diversifying the means of donation, which allows donors to choose the most appropriate means for them, as the value of zakat can also be placed through a bank transfer through SCI’s accounts in the Sharjah Islamic Bank, the Dubai Islamic Bank, and the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank.
