Sharjah24: His Excellency Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy visited the Al-Bataeh Popular Festival in its sixth edition, which is part of the Sharjah Shopping Festival. He was welcomed by His Excellency Mohammed Abdullah bin Halis Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Municipal Council, and His Excellency Abdullah Sultan bin Salouma Al Ketbi, Director of Al-Bataeh Municipality and Head of the Organising Committee of the Festival.
His Excellency the Minister inspected the participating pavilions in the festival.
His Excellency the Minister learned about the objectives of the festival and the heritage, cultural, and social initiatives it aims to preserve. These initiatives are aimed at supporting families in the Al-Bataeh region, helping them increase their income and play an active role in the economic development and preservation of the UAE heritage.
