Sharjah 24: Romanian Olario Cosmin, coach of the Sharjah team, stressed the difficulty of his team’s meeting with Shabab Al Ahli in the UAE Super match, which will be held tomorrow, Friday, at Al Maktoum Stadium at Al Nasr Club in Dubai.
Sharjah is champion of the President's Cup, and Shabab Al Ahli, champion of the ADNOC Professional League last season.
Cosmin explained, in the introductory press conference held by the UAE Professional League at the Thukher Club in Dubai, that the confrontation against a competitor like Shabab Al Ahli who has experience and history in a one-match tournament will be very strong and difficult.
He said, "We realize the importance and value of this tournament. Such matches require team work and effort to achieve victory, and the team that has the most control over the course of the match and exploits the opportunities that are available will be the most capable of achieving victory."
Cosmin stressed that his team's participation in the fifth final in all tournaments within two years under his leadership is a great success.
He said, "This is the fifth final for my team in two seasons. It is no small achievement. It is true that our results could have been better, but every stage has its own circumstances, and there are no good and difficult periods in the world of football, but we are always in the heart of the storm."
