Sharjah 24: Ahmed Abdul Rahman Al Owais, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Self-Defence Sports Club, stated that the club organised the Judo Sustainability Festival in cooperation with Al Tunaiji Real Estate, in Zawaya Walk, Sharjah.

Al Owais told “Sharjah 24” said that the aim of organising this festival is to disseminate the culture of self-defence sports and urge parents to encourage their children to practice sports.

He added that approximately 80 judo players participated in the first day of the three-day event. He went on to say that, Judo is considered an Olympic sport.
