Sharjah24: Mohammed Al Qaseer, the director of the Islamic Arts Festival pointed out that the 25th edition of the Islamic Arts Festival ( IAF) will launch on Wednesday, with the theme "Tajaliat (Manifestations)", The event is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
This year's festival showcases the talent of over 25 artists coming from 25 different countries across the globe. The United Arab Emirates is at the top of the list, along with other Arab countries like Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and newcomers like Colombia and Kazakhstan. In addition, participants from the United States, Turkey, and Spain are also involved.
Al Qaseer further mentioned in statements to "Sharjah 24" that the artists are set to showcase a wide range of artistic works, including exhibitions, calligraphy, and ornamentation paintings. He also added that these works will be displayed in over 47 exhibitions across different cities and regions in the Emirate of Sharjah.
