Sharjah24: In an effort to inspire the youngsters’ minds and unleash their boundless energy and creativity, "Sharjah Children" affiliated with the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators, are gearing up for an exciting Winter Camp.
The camp will be held from December 9th to the 28th and is designed for children aged 6 to 12. The event will take place at 13 different locations in Sharjah, covering both the central and eastern areas of the city.
The camp offers a wide range of educational and interactive workshops that aim to enhance children's creative abilities, nurture their talents, and help them develop various important skills. The programme also strives to boost children's self-confidence, while helping them explore their talents and interests. In addition, it motivates individuals to utilise their leisure time effectively during the winter break
The camp’s schedule offers a wide range of engaging activities and workshops, all conducted by a carefully chosen team of instructors and specialised organisations focused on talent development.. various government institutions within the Emirate are actively taking part in this initiative.
In an effort to strengthen ties with governmental entities and institutions in the Emirate of Sharjah and promote positive community relationships, the children of Sharjah have been invited to take part in the 12th Al Hamriyah Children's Festival 2023. The festival is set to occur from the 11th to the 14th of the same month, and it will be hosted in the Heritage Village in Al Hamriyah. There will be a variety of workshops and programmes designed for the children.
Commenting on this, Khawla Sharif Al Hawai, Director of the “Sharjah Children” emphasised the importance of the winter camp held at children's centres across the Emirate of Sharjah, stressing that the camp aims to provide equal opportunities for children to explore their talents in a safe and nurturing environment. She added also that specialised experts in various creative fields will be supervising the activities.
The winter camp for children in Sharjah is scheduled to run all week from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, except Fridays. Those interested in signing up for the camp can check out the Children of Sharjah Foundation's Instagram account @shjchc.
