Sharjah24: His Excellency Engineer Omar Khalfan bin Huraimel Al Shamsi, Chairman of Sharjah Directorate of Human Resources, expressed warm congratulations and best wishes to the esteemed leadership on the 52nd Union Day of the United Arab Emirates.

He conveyed, "Marking this day is a recognition and appreciation of its significance in the hearts of the people of the Emirates. It symbolises respect and gratitude for the accomplishments of our cherished nation, proud of its united efforts and the journey of its union. This journey reflects the stages of progress, starting from the desert and reaching into space. It has brought security, prosperity, development, and leadership to the country."

The Directorate of Human Resources in Sharjah commemorated the 52nd Union Day of the UAE throughout the week in its buildings across the city of Sharjah, including the Layyah and Dafan areas, as well as the Central and Eastern regions.

Various celebratory and cultural events, display panels, and traditional dances were organised, featuring participation from several schools in the Emirate. In addition, there were accompanying activities and artistic workshops.

As part of the celebration, diverse competitions were held, showcasing the nation's achievements across different fields.
