Sharjah 24: Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, affirmed that the anniversary of Union Day represents the greatest day, and the beginning of a journey full of goodness and unity among the people of one nation.
In a statement on the occasion of the 52nd Union Day, Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem stated that every year on this day, takes pride in every part of our country, and flags rise high, fluttering in the sky with all pride and belonging, in celebration of this anniversary, which represents the greatest of days, and the beginning of the launch of a journey full of goodness and unity.
He added that on this day, memories of yesterday are renewed, coupled with the achievements of the present and the aspirations of the future, as the people of our country learn the lessons and insightful vision of great men who laid the foundations for the solid success of the United Arab Emirates. They came together on a common word, pledged to give, and knew that in union there is strength and achievement, and in cooperation and brotherhood, all goodness and development.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi continued, “Every year, we and our sons and daughters must celebrate the biography and journey of our early leaders who took full responsibility and kept the dear united homeland in mind until it made all the achievements that we are proud of and that lead us to a prosperous future.”
