SCI, Al Muharraq Charity Society enhance cooperation

Sharjah 24: Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Charity International (SCI), received a delegation from the Al Muharraq Charity Society yesterday, Wednesday headed by Salah Mohammed Bu Hassan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Society.
Sheikh Saqr welcomed the Bahraini delegation in the presence of several SCI officials. He expressed his great happiness with this meeting, which comes within the framework of the arrangements made by the two sides to implement the fifth mass wedding in the sisterly Kingdom of Bahrain, and to discuss enhancing cooperation in implementing a number of vital and development projects.

Sheikh Saqr said that the existing cooperation between the Sharjah Charity International and its counterpart, Al Muharraq Charity Society contributed to the success of the mass wedding projects that were launched successively and served as a building block for family stability for more than 315 young people from the sisterly Kingdom, indicating that the SCI is continuing its approach towards needy young people through the fifth mass wedding scheduled to be launched later with the participation of a large number of grooms.

For his part, Salah Mohammed Bu Hassan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Al Muharraq Charity Society, praised the warm reception and hospitality. He also emphasised the excellence achieved by the SCI in charitable work, which enhanced its vitality and value, and demonstrated its direct impact in changing the lives of the communities covered by humanitarian work, appreciating the existing cooperation between both sides, which resulted in a lot of success and impact in the lives of the beneficiaries of the mass wedding programmes organised by the Sharjah Charity nternational, expressing his desire to enhance cooperation and to invite the SCI to be a partner in implementing a number of other projects that improve the livelihood of the beneficiaries, especially in remote areas.
