SRERD opens registration for Real Estate Excellence Award 2024

Sharjah24: As part of its endeavor to empower the real estate community in Sharjah, and to motivate it to provide smooth and advanced services with new levels of leadership and prosperity, the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department (SRERD) has announced the launch of the new cycle of the “Real Estate Excellence Award” for 2024. The registration for the award is opened in four award categories to various institutions, companies, associations, and real estate offices operating in the emirate, starting from December 4th and until the 4th of January 2024.
The “Real Estate Excellence Award” includes four categories: the category of Real Estate Offices, Real Estate Development Companies, Best Owners Association Board of Directors, and the category of the best companies for Administrative Supervision Services for Owners Associations.

Promoting constructive competition
His Excellency Abdul Aziz Ahmed Al-Shamsi, Director General of Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department, said, “We are motivated to open this award again because of the great success achieved in its previous sessions, and the willingness of a large number of institutions, companies, offices, and entities working in the real estate sector in the emirate to participate in this event.” His Excellency also stressed, “The department seeks, through this award and other programs and initiatives, to empower the real estate community in the emirate, and to motivate it to providing proactive, smooth, and advanced real estate services, in order to enhance the quality of life, and to make residents and customers happy. In addition, through this award, we aim to improve the services provided to customers, in order to reach the best results consistent with the best relevant global practices and standards”.

For his part,  Sheikh Ahmed bin Saqr Al-Qasimi, Head of the Strategic Planning and Institutional Excellence Office at the Department, said, “The award comes within the department’s strategic plan and its various programs aimed at developing the real estate sector, promoting constructive competition between various institutions and entities working in this vital sector, in addition to supporting distinguished models, and encouraging them to move forward in performing their role. Moreover, His Excellency added, “The award helps motivating other institutions to develop their work and meet the award’s requirements for participation, and provides them with the chance to compete with other institutions, which also contributes to achieving the department’s strategic goal of having sustainable real estate investment that anticipates the future, attracts more capital and investors, and enhances the global leadership of the Emirate in real estate investment.”

Keenness on the transparency of the award
About the transparency of the award, Sheikh Al-Qasimi, the Head of the Strategic Planning and Institutional Excellence Office stressed, “The department is keen on maintaining the transparency of the award, by assigning a judges committee which includes experts who have long-term experience working in the real estate field”. His Excellency also added, “The department is keen to move forward with determination on the path of leadership and excellence, and to enhance the spirit of initiative and innovation in all areas of real estate work.”

All institutions, companies, associations, and real estate offices operating in the Emirate of Sharjah can register for the award through the Department’s website www.shjrerd.gov.ae, where they can view the conditions and requirements for the award participation.
