Al Shamsi: Emirati Women's Day is an occasion rooted in history

Sharjah24: His Excellency Abdulaziz Ahmed Al-Shamsi, Director General of Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department, said that "Emirati Women's Day" constitutes a historical occasion in which the role of the "Emirate women" is firmly established in the renaissance and development of society and its diverse aspects.
Al-Shamsi also stated: "In confirmation of the importance of the role of Emirati women, Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation, and “Mother of the Nation”, declared the theme of this year's celebration, "We Collaborate for Tomorrow". This theme corresponds with President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed's proclamation of 2023 as the Year of Sustainability under the theme “Today is for Tomorrow”, which highlights the UAE's unwavering dedication to developing innovations and solutions to address challenges facing humanity.

In addition, Hi Excellency praised the continuous efforts of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak "Mother of the Nation", in supporting Emirati woman, motivating her to do more, and providing her with all the necessities to consolidate her position in the Arab region and the world, and to achieve success within the various sectors. He added: “Her Highness approach is consistent with what was founded by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God have mercy upon him, who made Emirati women a major partner in building the foundations of the nation.”

His Excellency added: "We seize this occasion to appreciate the pioneering role of Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs (SCFA), and Chairperson of the Sharjah Women's Sports Foundation (SWSF), and Her Highness's unlimited support for Sharjah’s women to continue their important role in participation, contribution, and giving to the society to achieve success and accomplishments for our dear country”.
