The celebration was attended by Sheikh Saeed bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Deputy Head of the Office of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah in Khorfakkan; Sheikh Haitham bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Deputy Head of the Office of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah in Kalba; Khalid Jassim Al Midfa, Chairman of the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority; Dr. Sulaiman Sarhan Al Zaabi, Head of the Department of Municipal Affairs; and Dr. Obaid Saif Al Zaabi, Chairman of Kalba Municipal Council.
Dr. Obaid Al Zaabi stated that the celebration began with a stunning military parade by Sharjah Police and Civil Defense. The festival included a tour through an exhibition consisting of various corners of various departments and institutions in Kalba, showcasing national artistic workshops.
The committee, in cooperation with the Department of Culture, organized a dramatic operetta projecting the nation’s achievements.
