Sharjah 24: The Wadi Al Helo hosted the activities of the 20th edition of the Sharjah Heritage Days, which will continue until March 18.
Sheikh Haitham bin Saqr bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Vice Chairman of Sharjah Ruler’s Office in Kalba, inaugurated the activities of the Sharjah Heritage Days in Wadi Al Helo that took place in the presence of Khamis Al Mazrouei, Governor of Wadi Al Helo, His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz Al Musallam, Chairman of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage, His Excellency Dr. Obaid Saif Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Kalba Municipal Council, and a crowd of officials of government departments and institutions and the people of the region.
His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz Al Musallam, Chairman of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage and Chairman of the Supreme Committee for the Activities of the 20th Sharjah Heritage Days, delivered a welcoming speech to the guests, praising the great role played by the people of Wadi Al Helo, which has a distinguished geographical location, in preserving the local heritage.
His Excellency added that this is line with the vision and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, who continuously supports and affirms the importance of heritage.
