Sharjah24: The Sharjah Sports Council is actively engaged in the ongoing third edition of the Kalba Beach Games, set to conclude on Friday amidst a significant audience. Sharjah 24 news website offered a real window to get close to the event by interviewing His Excellency Abdul Malik Jani, Vice-Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, who spared no efforts in unveiling details of the event.
His Excellency Abdul Malik Jani, Vice-Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council and head of the organising committee, highlighted the distinctive feature of the current edition - a notable increase in participants across various sports, surpassing 1600 players from delegations and teams.

As the tournament approaches its conclusion, Jany expressed gratitude for the steadfast support of the leadership, recognising the collective efforts of partners, including federations, sports clubs from diverse countries, sponsors from both government and private sectors, along with the invaluable contributions of technical teams and refereeing crews.

According to Jany's statements to Sharjah 24, this year's edition has expanded its scope to encompass three different types of games - beach, maritime, and combat sports. The organizing committee president underscored the championship's societal impact, noting its role in promoting tourism for the city of Kalba due to the extensive participation of individuals from various countries. Additionally, the championship has played a tangible role in boosting the city's overall sporting activities.
