The specifics were disclosed during a press conference conducted at Kalba University on Tuesday. The event was attended by His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami, the chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, as well as Abdul Malik Jani, Vice-Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council and Chairman of the Organising Committee, Dr. Yasser Omar Al Dukhi, the event's director, representatives of sports associations and clubs, members of the organising committee, and media representatives.
In a statement to Sharjah 24, His Excellency Issa Hilal said that the Kalba Beach Games have established themselves as a resounding success, driven by the attention and care given to them. This reflects the significance of sports in the Emirate and the Council's unwavering dedication to providing all the necessary elements for its excellence. He also highlighted the participation of approximately 2,200 athletes in this third edition.
The event will encompass seven sports disciplines, including football, 3x3 basketball, volleyball, triathlon, water sports, self-defense competitions, and badminton. The total prize pool for first-place champions is set at 600,000 dirhams.
