Sharjah24: Under the patronage of Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Chairman of Sharjah Executive Council , the second edition of the Social Support Center Forum 2023, organized by the Sharjah Police General Command, will begin next Thursday, 23rd of November, at the Academy’s headquarters, under the slogan “Foreseeing the Future of Community Security”.

An elite group of leaders, experts and prominent specialists from society will participate in the second edition of the forum including, His Excellency Sheikh Majid bin Sultan Al Qasimi ,Head of the Suburbs Affairs Department, Member of the Executive Council , and His Excellency Dr. Khawla Al Mulla,  Chairman of the Family Affairs Authority, Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs , Member of the Executive Council, His Excellency Naima Abdullah Al-Sharhan, Member of the Federal National Council, and His Excellency Judge Dr. Ahmed Saeed Al Naqbi - from the Sharjah Court of First Instance. 

The commander-in-chief of the Sharjah Police, His Excellency Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, stated: "In its second year, the forum continues its work on the principle of sustainability in making the best use of opportunities and exchanging experiences related to readiness for the future of a safe and sustainable society, to enhance awareness of future challenges in society, and to focus on anticipating the future in the field of community and family security and creating scenarios and solutions to address upcoming challenges, as well as spotting potential opportunities and seizing them to uphold security and stability."

For her part, Colonel Dr. Ruqaya Jassim Al-Mazmi, Director of the Social Support Center, explained that the forum’s agenda for this year will include (6) main topics including: the future vision for the role of suburb councils,” which will be presented by Sheikh Majid bin Sultan Al Qasimi, and the social sustainability in the shadow of future opportunities and challenges,” which will be presented by His Excellency Dr. Khawla Al-Mulla, and the topic “Social Values between Reality’s Challenges and Future Opportunities,” which will be presented by His Excellency Namah Abdullah Al-Sharhan, and the topic “The Future of Regulating Legislation and Advanced Technologies and Their Impact on Society,” which will be presented by His Excellency Judge Dr. Muhammad Obaid Al-Kaabi, and “The Future of Family Stability from a Security Perspective” which will be presented by Colonel Tariq Al Midfa, Director of the Strategy and Performance Development Department at Sharjah Police, and the topic “The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Community Security,” presented by Ahmed Abdel Rahim Al Zarouni, a technical expert and lecturer.
