SPGC delegation visit reviewed the best practices and standards in road safety, traffic control, smart traffic and transportation systems, technology and digital construction, in addition to asset management and maintenance to serve the traffic sector in Sharjah.
Colonel Omar Bu Ghanem, Deputy Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department at SPGC, stressed the importance of such visits and their prominent role in enhancing the exchange of knowledge, experiences and traffic culture; and learning about the optimal use of modern technology in traffic systems.
He praised the efforts of Sharjah Police personnel exerted in achieving traffic safety through constructive visits at international exhibitions, which contributes to enhancing traffic safety, road security, and community life quality.
