The ten teams are divided into two groups as follows:
Group 1: Sharjah International Airport Authority, the Department of Human Resources, the Sharjah Academy for Police Sciences, the Sharjah Civil Defense, and the Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority.
Group 2: Sharjah Sports Council, the Sharjah Cooperative Society, Sharjah Police General Headquarters, the General Command of the Sharjah Police Academy, and the Department of Social Services.
Dr. Tariq Sultan bin Khadim, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Sharjah Government Employees Club, emphasised that this tournament reflects the ongoing commitment to enhance communication and encourage fair competition among government employees in Sharjah. He also highlighted its alignment with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, which prioritises providing comprehensive services and opportunities for government employees. Dr. bin Khadem praised the dedicated efforts of the organising committee, which worked tirelessly to ensure the success of the championship and the attainment of its goals.
The championship will feature matches in the initial stage that will follow a group stage format, with the top two teams from each group progressing to the semifinals. The victors of the semifinals will compete in the final match.
