Sharjah24 : The Sharjah Children members participated in a creative training workshop called "Designing a Character" on Thursday, which was hosted by the Khorfakkan Arts Center, a Sharjah Arts Foundation affiliate. On that event , Sharjah24 offered a real window to shed light on the event by interviewing Sumaya Aziz, ceramics teacher at Khorfakkan Arts Center, who spared no efforts on unveiling details of the event.
Sumaya Aziz, stated that the workshop aimed to introduce children and train them on the use of paper and glitter in designing characters .
She added to Sharjah 24 that these workshops contribute to assisting children to explore new materials in artistic works and place them in beautiful frames to take home.
She explained that cartoon models of children's favorite characters were used for drawing and coloring, and some materials were introduced into the design, such as wool, to improve the child's abilities to use his imagination in building the character.
