The interviews were attended by Her Excellency Najla Abdullah Al Shamsi, Secretary General of the Award, and His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Abdul Rahman bin Sultan, member of the Award’s Board of Trustees, supervisor of the Evaluation and Arbitration Committee, along with the members of the Evaluation and Arbitration Committee, whose membership includes an elite group of experts and specialists, as personal interviews are among the most important.
The Board of Trustees of the Sheikha Jawaher Al Qasimi Award for Sports Excellence, headed by His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami and in the presence of all members, reviewed the latest developments in the award’s work stages, including the screening, evaluation and arbitration stages, and what has been accomplished by the relevant committees, in the regular meeting, held on Thursday 19 October. The meeting also included a discussion on the topics of the agenda, most notably the nominees for Sports Personality of the Year, in addition to polling the opinions of the participants and the committees’ achievements during the past period, in addition to discussing the latest developments in the closing ceremony.
