The meeting was held in the presence of Matar Ali bin Huwaiden Al Ketbi, Chairman of Sharjah Camel Racing Club and Chairman of the Supreme Committee; the organiser of the festival, Colonel Salem Masoud Al Tunaiji, Acting Director of Al Dhaid Comprehensive Police Station, and Major Yasser Daoud Al Dhuhouri, Director of Traffic Affairs at Al Dhaid Police Station.
During the meeting, the festival's supreme organising committee reviewed all aspects related to the security and safety of the festival visitors and guests, while distributing tasks to avoid any incidents or injuries to which visitors may be exposed. The necessity of security and patrols on the grounds of Al Dhaid Camel Racing Track and the heritage village accompanying the festival was also discussed.
Bin Huwaiden stressed that the presence of security patrols at the festival comes from the standpoint of the priorities of Sharjah Camel Racing Club to provide security and safety for large numbers of festival visitors and participating camel owners, and that the club is ready to cooperate with all designated authorities to provide all what it takes to make the festival visit special.
