Sharjah 24: Kicking off the morning of Sunday, October 15th, Al Dhaid camel racecourse hosted a series of exhilarating camel racing competitions, unveiling fresh challenges for the President's Diwan Camel Racing Championship.
With the expert coordination of the Sharjah Camel Racing Club, the event showcased 15 electrifying rounds tailored for Sheikhs and tribal members, spanning a 5-kilometre stretch. The gathering witnessed a remarkable turnout of camel owners and ardent followers of the sport.

Here's a breakdown of the leading results in the race:

Saeed Mazhar Mohammed Al Ameri clinched the first round, clocking an impressive time of 8 minutes, 10 seconds, and 69 milliseconds, setting the record for the best timing.

Mohammed Harb Binal Ajayed Al Kitbi triumphed in the second round, titled "Azayem."

Sultan Saeed Maher Al Darmaki emerged victorious in the third round, known as "Al Wa'i."

Matar Ali bin Huwaiden Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Sharjah Camel Racing Club underlined the significant participation of camel owners from various corners of the United Arab Emirates and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, expressing the excitement, thrill, and vigour that characterised these compelling competitions at Al Dhaid field.
