Sharjah 24: President's Diwan Badge Camel Race challenges continued to gain momentum this morning, Saturday, September 30, at Al Dhaid Camel Racecourse, under the supervision and organisation of the Sharjah Camel Racing Club with great participation by camel owners from among the UAE tribes and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
Matar Ali bin Howaiden Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Sharjah Camel Racing Club confirmed that the challenges of the age of laqaya (Three year-old-camel) for this day witnessed wide participation by the people of the country, stressing the interest of camel owners in annual participation in all races organised by the Sharjah Camel Racing Club, indicating that there is clear progress among the participants thanks to the attention the wise leadership attaches to the sport of camel racing and the interest of the UAE Camel Federation in supporting the people of the region and providing them with the experience and skill necessary to deal with camels.
