UAE President arrives in Jordan on working visit

Sharjah 24: Today morning, Friday, October 10, new competitions for the badge of the President’s Court for Arabian camel racing were launched, organised and supervised by the Sharjah Camel Racing Club. The competitions held in Al Dhaid Racecourse amid a large turnout from camel owners and lovers of this sport.

Matar Ali bin Huwaiden Al Ketbi, the head of the Sharjah Camel Racing Club, said that the competitions for the President’s Court Badge race will continue on Saturday, October 14, with the “laqaya” (Three-year-old camel) challenges, followed by the broadcasting challenges of Ithaa’ ( 4 yrs. camel) on Sunday, October 15, organised and monitored by the Sharjah Camel Racing Club.
