Sharjah24: In Khorfakkan, the FNCE received high voting participation. The voting process began in the early hours of Saturday, the main day of the 2023 Federal National Council (FNCE) elections, according to Fatima Hamid Al Shari', the head of the electoral centre in the Sharjah city of Khor Fakkan. There was a lot of excitement among members of the electoral body to vote in this election.
Al Shari' stated that the voting process demonstrates voters' understanding and national duty towards the necessity of national involvement across diverse segments of society, including senior citizens, individuals with disabilities, and young people.
She emphasised that the National Elections Committee has provided all necessary resources to ensure the highest standards of accuracy, transparency, and integrity in the electoral process, with voting taking less than 3 minutes, expressing her hope for a successful election.
