Sharjah24: The Sharjah Economic Development Department (SEDD) recently sponsored two exhibits aimed at showcasing the goods of productive families, one carried out by the Masarat Centre for Development and Empowerment and the other by the Production Centre.
These shows feature a diverse range of items, such as artwork, handicrafts, sweets, and more.
The exhibitions also provide a venue for participants to showcase their discoveries and creations, encouraging an entrepreneurial culture and assisting small and medium-sized businesses.
These initiatives are part of the department's commitment to empowering individuals and encouraging entrepreneurship in a variety of economic areas.
According to Ahmed bin Saeed Al Sweidi, Deputy Director of Commercial Affairs at the Sharjah Economic Department, "the exhibition promotes an entrepreneurial culture and instills entrepreneurial thinking among young people, developing a generation of successful entrepreneurs and providing them with the tools and knowledge to engage in business through innovative projects based on scientific foundations and strategies."
He stated that the Sharjah Economic Development Department views displays as a valuable marketing tool for businesses. They enable individuals to present their one-of-a-kind commercial goods in family-friendly industries such as clothes, fashion, perfumes, incense, handicrafts, and food.
