Sharjah 24: In confirmation of the fraternal relations and shared historical ties between the Emirati and Saudi peoples, the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club (SIMSC) organised for their brothers in the Saudi Water Sports and Diving Federation participating in the third round of the Sharjah International Aqua bike Championship, an entertainment day on the occasion of their celebrations of the 93rd National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which falls on September 23, on the beach of Khorfakkan.
The celebration includes many marine and recreational events and activities, such as riding water bikes and flyboards, a tourist tour of the picturesque islands of Khorfakkan, and visiting tourist and heritage sites.
The Saudi Water Sports and Diving Federation’s delegation expressed their happiness with the initiative implemented by the club staff and their deep gratitude and pride in the good relations between the two peoples, praising the beauty of the city of Khorfakkan and the cultural and historical richness it possesses of integrated sports, entertainment and service facilities.
Ahmed Al Hosani, Director General of the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club, extended his warmest congratulations and blessings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince, and to the brotherly Saudi people on this occasion. He wished the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its people continued progress and prosperity.
Al Hosani explained that sports relations between the UAE and Saudi Arabia are an exceptional model of communication and interdependence over the years, especially in the field of marine sports, which have greatly contributed and enhanced the values of friendship, cooperation and exchange of experiences at the sports level.
