Ahmed Al Hosani, Director General of SIMSC, reviewed the objectives of the two-week programme and its future aspirations, stressing the club’s keenness to promote and spread sports culture among young people and motivate them to practice it, in a way that contributes to building their competencies and attracting their talents to engage in the club’s academies and training centres in the future in various emirates according to visions and directives of the wise leadership.
Al Hosani added that Istiqtab aims to create promising sports talents from the rising generation (7-14 years old) through an interactive approach that mixes training and knowledge with pleasure, in addition to introducing them to the club’s activities and Olympic sports of all kinds, such as sailing, swimming, rowing, motor and boat maritime sports.
The Director General of SIMSC confirmed that the programme will continue until all schools affiliated to the city of Sharjah and the Eastern Region are covered.
