Sharjah 24: As part of their ongoing efforts to enhance community engagement and better understand the needs of the local population, Al Suyoh Suburb Council in Sharjah, under the Sharjah District and Villages Affairs Department, recently conducted a visit to the residence of citizen Yousuf Ali Obaid Al Suwaidi in Al Raqiba 6 area.
This visit exemplifies the positive rapport between Al Suyoh Suburb Council and the residents of the area, underscoring the council's unwavering commitment to fulfilling the area's requirements and continually advancing its development.
The visiting delegation, led by Youssef Obaid Harmoul Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Council, and accompanied by Vice Chairman Harib Mohammed Harib Al Rumaithi, included council members and staff, alongside participation from several local citizens.
During this visit, various pertinent issues related to the area were discussed, with a particular focus on improving infrastructure elements like sidewalks and speed bumps. Furthermore, the council gathered valuable feedback and suggestions from citizens concerning the array of services available in the region.
In response to this visit, Al Shamsi emphasised the significance of direct communication with the community, especially with the elderly, who hold the right to participate in decision-making and express their needs and desires. He highlighted the diligent efforts of Al Suyoh Suburb Council in enhancing infrastructure and delivering high-quality services to all residents, stressing the importance of listening to citizen input as a vital component of suburb development.
