Al Suyoh Council forms committees to discuss social issues

Sharjah 24: Within the framework of its continued commitment to serving the community and enhancing communication with the community residens, Al Suyoh Suburb Council of the Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs (DVA), held its periodic meeting at the Council’s headquarters in the city of Sharjah.
The meeting was chaired by His Excellency Youssef Obaid bin Harmoul Al Shamsi, Chairman of Al Suyoh Suburb Council, in the presence of Vice President Hareb Muhammad Hareb Al Rumaithi, council members and employees.

During the meeting, many important social issues of concern to the people of the suburb were discussed, in addition to a review of the Council’s activities and the decisions that were taken during the previous period.

Among the topics discussed were issues related to infrastructure, public services, residents, in addition to other important topics.

During the meeting, a number of decisions and recommendations were taken aimed at improving the lives of Al Suyoh residents, including forming a field visits committee to assess the needs of the residents and directing efforts towards meeting them effectively; and forming a monitoring committee to work on recording and tracking all issues related to the people of the suburb and looking for instant solutions. 

These decisions come within the framework of the Council's ongoing efforts to improve services in Al Suyoh.
His Excellency Youssef Obaid bin Harmoul Al Shamsi expressed his gratitude for the members’ participation and constructive interaction during the meeting. He also stressed the Council’s keenness to constantly communicate with the community, and to continue its role in providing support to Al Suyoh people and working to answer their needs.
