Sharjah24: Al Suyoh Suburb Council of the Sharjah Districts and Villages Affairs Department honoured 32 imams of mosques in Al Suyoh areas and neighborhoods in Sharjah, in recognition of their efforts during the holy month of Ramadan.
After coordination with the Islamic Affairs Department in the Sharjah government, the meeting was organised by the Council on Wednesday evening at its headquarters, aiming to honour the imams of mosques in Al Suyoh, praising them for their distinguished efforts.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Youssef Obaid Harmoul Al Shamsi, Chairman of Al Suyoh Suburb Council, His Excellency Harib Muhammad Harib Al Rumaithi, Vice Chairman, members and imams, and a group of invitees.
During delivering his speech, His Excellency Youssef Al Shamsi has welcomed the attendees, lauding mosques’ imams for their active and affective role in motivating people to do all kinds of ibadas during Ramadan. He also extended appreciation to Islamic Affairs Department, lauding their support in all areas, under the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
After that, the council’s Chairman and members honoured 32 imams for their efforts to revive the nights of the blessed month of Ramadan.
