Sharjah 24: In an effort to enhance road safety and upgrade the infrastructure in Al Suyoh suburb, an important meeting was convened by Al Suyoh Council, which falls under the purview of the Sharjah Districts and Villages Affairs Department.
This meeting was attended by representatives from both the Roads and Transport Authority and Al Suyoh Police Station.
Presiding over the meeting was Dr. Jasim Mohammed Bakheet Al Sweidi, Member of Al Suyoh Council, and it saw the participation of council members and representatives from the Roads and Transport Authority and Al Suyoh Police Station. Various crucial topics were deliberated upon during this gathering, including the matter of speed bumps on the internal roads.
The meeting, hosted at Al Suyoh Council's headquarters in Sharjah City, demonstrated the effective partnership and collaboration between Al Suyoh Council, the Roads and Transport Authority, and Al Suyoh Police Station, all aimed at enhancing the local infrastructure and ensuring road safety within the region.
Throughout the meeting, discussions revolved around the placement and reconfiguration of speed bumps, with the goal of improving road safety and facilitating smoother traffic flow. Additionally, a request was put forth to remove several existing speed bumps and introduce new ones in Al Suyoh suburb to enhance the overall safety of the community and pedestrians.
