Sharjah 24: The sixth meeting of Al Suyoh Suburb Council, affiliated with Sharjah Districts Affairs Department, was held as part of a series of activities organised by the council within the framework of “Yalsatna” initiative.
The meeting took place at the council's headquarters, in Sharjah, and was attended by a large number of residents and representatives of the local community.
The meeting comes within the strategy of Al Suyoh Council to enhance communication with the people and work together to solve problems and meet the needs of the suburb within the framework of their community initiative, “Yalastna.”
The meeting was attended by the Chairman of Al Suyoh Council, Yousef Obaid Harmoul Al Shamsi; and Vice Chairman Hareb Mohammed Hareb Al Rumaithi; in addition to the presence of prominent members of the council.
The meeting's activities were characterised by positive interaction and fruitful dialogue on societal issues and problems facing the residents of the suburb.
During the meeting, different community issues were reviewed; in addition to suggestions and comments submitted by residents.
10 complaints submitted by residents of the suburb were also discussed, and work was done to find effective solutions to them.
Emphasis was also placed on the importance of providing health centre services in Al Suyoh area, and residents of the suburb provided suggestions on how to attract parents and families to “Yalsatna” initiative.
Yousef Obaid Harmoul Al Shamsi expressed his happiness with the positive interaction seen at the meeting and praised the role of the residents in enhancing community communication and active participation in improving their community environment.
