Sharjah 24: The Cultural and Media Office of the Supreme Council of Family Affairs hosted a session titled "Poetry and Youth in the Age of Artificial Intelligence" as part of the Eighth Emirates Women Writers Forum, which took place at the Emirates Writers Union in Abu Dhabi.
Dr. Aisha Al-Shamsi presented the seminar, moderated by the poet Najat Al-Dhaheri.
Sheikha Al-Jaberi, a poet, delivered a speech in which she welcomed the Emirates Writers Union and a number of other organisations. She stressed the value of teamwork in enhancing cultural production in the entire country.
Najat Al-Dhaheri started off the session by contemplating how AI may affect young people's contemporary poetry. She elaborated upon the idea of "Twitter poetry."
After that, poet Najat Al-Dhaheri hosted a poetry night with featured poets Zeinab Amer and Abeer Al-Bariki.
