Sharjah24: The 3rd edition of the Kalba Beach Games’ organising committee planned to reveal all the information during a press conference early in November. The event, being the first tournament in Asia with this many beach games and competitions, under the auspices of Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah.
The meeting was chaired by His Excellency Abdulmalik Mohammed Jani, Deputy Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council and the Chairman of the Organising Committee. It was attended by His Excellency Omar bin Hanifa, a member of the board (remotely), and Yasser Omar Al-Dokhi, the director of the event, along with members and heads of subcommittees. During the meeting, the reports from the previous edition were reviewed, as well as the recommendations for the upcoming edition.
Additionally, it was agreed to hold the event from November 16 to November 24, with preparing a documentary movie as part of the event's marketing strategy.
While discussing the preparation plan, the attendees decided to hold the next meeting at the beginning of October to discuss updates and necessary preparations.
Jani emphasised the eagerness of the organising committee to improve this year’s edition, ensuring its success at all levels to please the audience, the people of Kalba, and the guests.
He also noted that the upcoming press conference will announce all the latest developments in the tournament, its competitions program, and accompanying entertainment events.
