Sharjah24: Al Dhaid Sports Club hosted an open day during which several students from Al Bardi School were welcomed, as part of "Hello School" Initiative, in line with the Club’s efforts to improve community interaction and support positive partnerships between educational and sporting institutions.
The club's gym hosted a variety of tournaments and entertaining sporting events throughout the open day. To guarantee an engaging experience appropriate for all ages, students were also divided into groups based on their academic proficiency.
Expressing pleasure with the event, His Excellency Salem Mohammed bin Huwaiden Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Dhaid Cultural and Sports Club presented gifts to all participants and handed out awards to the winners at the conclusion of the event, which witnessed the attendance of several dignitaries.
For her part, Maryam Al Ghafli, Director of Al Bardi School, commended Al Dhaid Club’s successful role in providing kids with support and care at all times. She has further emphasised that this open day provides an opportunity to improve communication and cooperation between the school and the club, stressing that it is also considered as a promising start to the new academic year.
