Sharjah24: Her Excellency Mariam Al Hammadi, Director of The Big Heart Foundation, said on the occasion of Emirati Women's Day that: “The UAE’s nurturing environment for women has empowered them to unlock their true potential and take the lead in various areas of societal and national development and prosperity. For decades, Emirati women have been representing our nation on key regional and international stages and have realised our wise leadership’s vision for diverse and inclusive growth with their groundbreaking achievements in a variety of fields”.
“Today, we proudly celebrate the triumphs of each and every Emirati woman, particularly in the field of humanitarian development. Surpassing every expectation, the UAE’s female citizens have been at the forefront of a multitude of humanitarian initiatives dedicated to supporting women worldwide, in line with the directives of Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, Chairperson of The Big Heart Foundation, and Eminent Advocate for Refugee Children at UNHCR.” TBHF Director added.
Her excellency emphasised that: “On this occasion, as ‘We Collaborate for Tomorrow’, we envision a brighter future that will benefit from stronger community cohesion across all endeavours that will reinforce the UAE’s position globally. I express my deepest gratitude to our leadership for the trust and confidence they have in us.
