Sharjah24: According to Alia Obaid Al Musaibi, Head of Media Department at The Big Heart Foundation (TBHF), Talent Beyond Boundaries (TBB) was announced as the winner of the 7th edition of the Sharjah International Award for Refugee Advocacy and Support (SIARA 2023), highlighting their initiatives to enhance the conditions of refugees.
During her exclusive statement to "Sharjah 24", She expressed the Fundation's pride in the talents and experiences discovered every year through the Sharjah International Award for Refugee Advocacy and Support, organised in cooperation with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
Al Musaibi pointed out that this Award, launched by the foundation in 2017 has highlighted the efforts of numerous non-profit organisations around the world, stressing their remarkable role in providing a better life for refugees, under the guidance and patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed AlQasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, and Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairperson of The Big Heart Foundation (TBHF) and Eminent Advocate for Refugee Children at UNHCR.
She continued by saying that this edition had received the most applications over its past editions, reaching to 423 applications from 41 different countries, all from entities that are dedicated to saving lives, protecting rights and building a better future for refugees.
