Sharjah 24: Al Dhaid Camel Racecourse witnessed, on Saturday, strong competitions for the badge of Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Ruler’s Representative in Al Ain Region, for purebred Arab camel races.
The competitions that were held, organised and monitored by the Sharjah Camel Racing Club, included holding 10 rounds of a distance of 3 km, amid unparalleled excitement from all participants.
His Excellency Matar Ali bin Howiden Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Sharjah Camel Racing Club, confirmed that the badge of Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Ruler’s Representative in Al Ain Region, comes within the preparations of camel owners to participate in all the races and festivals that are held in Al Dhaid Camel Racecourse.
